Supporting US and international groups

which provide disaster and crisis response

Response to disasters can include providing food, water, emergency shelter,

medicine and supplies of essential basics for those affected. Responses may also

involve spiritual support/evangelism and caring for the whole person.

Some examples of ways to get involved

Pray for those affected by disasters


Volunteer with an organization which directly assists disaster victims


Choose to donate as an individual to organizations of your choice or to those suggested by the Mission Team



What We will do


  • Become involved with agencies which are:
  • Christian based
  • Have excellent ratings from Charity Navigator and/or Charity Watch Providing relief after disasters in the US or internationally
  • Donate funds to organizations approved by the Mission Team at MPC (Examples, but not limited to, Samaritan’s Purse, World Central Kitchen Incorporated, Convoy of Hope)
  • Seek opportunities for MPC individuals/groups to become personally involved with disaster relief by volunteering at disaster sites




Jesus said, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: Love your neighbor as yourself.”
